The AG15 AGOTEX instrument is used on Socks Machines and on single-bed circular knitting machines to detect needle head breakage.
A precision magnetic sensor warms the instrument that the circular knitting machine has performed one complete rotation. At this stage the digital processor built into the instrument stores and verify the number of needles being working.
An important new feature of this version is the broken needle number detection ; such number is shown on display during machine stop , and then the instrument shown the counted needle so to help the manual pick of the broken needle
The instrument consists of a main module with a built-in amplifier , a specially-designed magnetic switch and one infrared optical readers for needle detection.
It is a compact device designed for Socks Machine control and differs from previous AG14 because it has the amplifier module built into the main unit and support only one infrared optical readers.
The smooth front panel with projecting keys allows a longer useful life. The instrument is housed in a sturdy metal box.
Power supply on 24Vac, energy requirements 0,2A (isolated secondary circuit).
Programming and access to data are protected by a password which can be disabled by an electronic key.
Works from 10 to 1200 RPM so it can be used on high speed Socks Machines as on slower wide circular knitting machines.
Dialogues in Italian, English, French and other languages on demand.
Short-circuit protections, electrical interference suppressors and components tolerating external interference, all guaranteeing a safe operation.
